Gospel-pop group RAISE is comprised of some of Los Angeles' freshest emerging R&B Pop Soul Gospel talent. 

Friendly, diverse, a little edgy and totally unique, RAISE will breathe life into your event with their incredible energy, spirited personalities and fierce vocal power. RAISE Gospel-Pop Choir brings together recording artists, studio session singers, church musicians, and singer-songwriters to create an uplifting soulful experience - we're ready to inspire!

RAISE has been seen in national commercials for America’s Got Talent and New Balance. In addition to our regular bookings of high-end weddings and private parties, last year RAISE has been featured in music videos with Domani Harris, TI, Royce da 5'9", and in Yebba & Mark Ronson’s music video for their hit “Don’t Leave Me Lonely”. RAISE has now sung twice for Daybreaker event alongside Julianne Hough, and in 2020 were the vocalists and choir on the Oprah 2020 Vision Tour with Daybreaker. We were featured as back up choir for Canadian R&B artists DVSN at Coachella, performed a Gospel Brunch for the video release of A Medea Family Funeral, sang at two events for Goodwill Los Angeles, alongside LA Mayor Eric Garcetti and most recently sang in David Ono’s keynote presentation for Go For Broke’s “Evening of Aloha”, just to name a few of our exciting bookings in 2019 and 2020!

Thank you to LACC - Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, for having us as your Opening Act for your dinner in January! We sang and entertained a 10 minute high energy set, as well as sang the National Anthem!

Most recently, RAISE just wrapped the Oprah Tour (Jan 4-March 7 2020) where we opened for her as the vocalists and choir in Daybreaker's Opening Act in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Charlotte, St Paul and Atlanta!

RAISE had the wonderful opportunity to sing at Disney California Adventure in 2016! We are proud to have been the first all- African American vocal group to perform LIVE for Disney Worldwide, singing celebratory songs with a nod to Kwanza. In 2017 RAISE worked closely with CB2 (Crate & Barrel) to bring our infectious brand and music to their stores in NYC, Chicago and Los Angeles!

 

RAISE has most recently sung on recordings for up and coming artists like Sy France, rock band LP (Faulkner!), voice-over for a comedy sketch show (JungleVille!), recorded in studio for TV/Film Sync Licensing organizations Syncalicious, HD MusicNow, BMG Music LA (we love you!), and sung at multiple weddings including an Indian Hindi Wedding! RAISE just sang a few times for SoHo House, West Hollywood, and was honored to sing two back to back memorial services recently, one in an old movie theatre, and  the other at a Monastery! (This monastery has never had outside music before, so that was a first for all of us! RIP Lupita and John! xoxo)

 

RAISE has performed at LA Galaxy singing The National Anthem, they were chosen to sing alongside Foreigner vocalist Lou Gramm for his LA concerts during his hit "I Wanna Know What Love Is", with Sony Pictures & Jamie Foxx for a promotional video for the movie "Annie", at celebrity parties (including an event for Judy Greer and at Johnny Galecki's birthday party) and were the opening act for the Anti-Defamation League Gala honoring Mark Burnett and Roma Downey. Additionally, RAISE performed recently at a corporate events and conventions.
